TRUNK OR TREAT / HALLOWEEN PARADE

Hello Camellia Families,

Our Halloween Parade will be held on Thursday, October 31st at 8:15 a.m. on the playground. Parents are invited. The gate on Valerio Street will be open for parents at about 8:10 am. Parents, please plan to stand in the designated area, behind the students during the parade.

Students who do not celebrate Halloween should still come to school. We will have a designated space for them during the parade time.

If possible, students should wear their costumes over their school clothes, or they can bring a plastic bag to store their costumes for the remainder of the day. Please make sure that costumes abide by the following district guidelines:

• No weapons of any kind-not even toys weapons (no guns, knives, swords, batons, bats, etc.)
• No revealing clothes (no mid-drifts or short shorts/skirts)
• Costumes must not be demeaning to any person or group
• Costumes should be appropriate to the elementary grade level

If costumes do not follow the above requirements your child will need to change into regular school clothes.

After the parade students will return to their classrooms where they will change themselves into their school clothes and continue their academic day. We ask that parents leave immediately after the parade so that students may continue with their regular scheduled day. We look forward to a fun and safe parade for all.

Trunk or Treat
We are excited to host our first trunk or treat (see flyer attached).

Valerio gate will be open for entrance and Beck gate will be open for exiting (see flyer) for students Kinder-5th Grade.

Cohasset gate will be opened for UTK/CC & PALs program ONLY (Rooms 5, 6, 7).
